ABSTRACT
The experiment was conducted at Central Horticulture Research Station, BARI, Gazipur, Bangladesh during April, 2002 to February, 2003 to study the physico-morphological characteristics of some grape lines. In most cases three shaped grape bunches e.i. cylindrical, globular and conical were observed whereas, the berry shape was spherical, ellipsoidal and obovoid, respectively. Most of the lines produced dark blackish purple skinned berry. The base girth of different lines ranged from 8.00 to 18.50cm. The maximum number (27.75) of cane was recorded in line VV015. The line VV023 produced maximum bunch (18.25) and Showed the highest yield (1849.35g) per plant. The maximum and minimum TSS values were recorded 24.65% and 6.00% under the lines VV023 and VV025, respectively.
