ABSTRACT

Genotype- environment interaction was studied in 10 genotypes of soybean under five cultural environments during Rabi season of July 2000 to October 2001 at experimental farm of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Significant variation for genotypes (G), environment (E) and G x E interactions were found for the characters of “days to maturity”, “pod length”, “number of pods / plant”, “100- seed weight” and “seed yield / plant”. On the basis of stability parameters, genotypes Coloumbus, BS-3 and PB-1 could be considered stable genotypes for seed yield specially for poor environments.
