 ABSTRACT

A field trail was conducted at Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Burirhat Farm, Rangpur, Bangladesh during the Rabi season 2013 to 2014 and 2014 to 2015 with five fertilizer treatments to find out the best fertilizer dose of hybrid maize crop after potato harvest. The highest maize yield (11.97 t ha-1) was given in the recommended dose (T1 treatment) and statistically identical up to T3 and below yield from other treatments. The yield of potato was around 25 to 26 t ha-1 when applying the recommended fertilizer dose in potato. The yield of farmers treatment, it was 9.04 t ha-1. However, considering of all things, the 50% of recommended dose of maize with compeer to other treatments, the 50% of recommended dose of maize dose was better dose after potato harvest.
