ABSTRACT

The study was conducted at the Tuber Crops Research Centre, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Joydebpur, Gazipur, Bangladesh during November 2014 to February 2015 to observed the performance of IPM package against potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cutworm (Agrotis ipsilon (Hufner)) under farmer’s field condition.  A field experiment was conducted in farmers field at Bogra district. Potato crop under IPM package T1 (Sex Pheromone + Furadan 5G (Carbofuran) during land preparation + Furadan 5G before last irrigation) result significantly lower percentage of hill damage (1.74%), damage tuber number (2.03%), damage tuber weight (0.81) and produce higher yield (27.59t/h) other than two treatments T2 (Furadan 5G during land preparation + Furadan 5G before last irrigation) and T3 (Farmer’s practice).
